One thing that I always try to remember when practicing the law of attraction in something I read in one of the Wayne Dyer books. Without rummaging around for the book, it left me we the impression that we should always be open to the fact that when things do not manifest in the way we desired, what we asked for may have still manifested. When my grandfather fell ill, I of course desired for his health to improve and for him to continue living, and for him to be without the pain. When he died, I was comforted by the fact that at least one of those desires were attained. And even if I had not wished for the pain to end consciously, it would have been a desire nonetheless. Some may find that rationale trite, but with all the wonderous things (and negative things) I know I have attracted into my life, it provided some comfort and resolution.
Be Well.
