If reality is so, why improve? You can be a part of consciousness as everyone and let go as it is.. What is the need for improvement or personal development? What is 'personal development' in that context? What to improve? Other than enjoy the consciousness and live. Why improve?

If you describe ‘Improvement’ as the improvement of the entire consciousness itself, and describe personal development as the development of entire consciousness, how can you (or I) know the consciousness needs improvement? Or development?

And Steve tells future is a projection, and does any 'improvement' happen in present? Or it’s the things we do to make a better tomorrow. Isn’t? If future is not there, why goto gym today for personal development?

I think the personal development as a business of ego in the basic. Steve, can you show some light into this? Please describe about the ego and its role in personal development.
I'm not Steve (thank god) but I'll try to answer nonentheless from my own viewpoint.

First of all lets define the first mistake most people make; namely that they are only the ego yet and no more.
The ego is a part of you.
That which is you is much larger.

Personal Development is both recreating the ego into a vision that serves you and discovering that you are not the ego.

Both are tied together.

To change the ego, to mold it in the shape you want, you need to realize that you are not the ego.
If you are the ego it would be like ripping of a arm for the sake of becoming stronger. To the ego all of its parts are equally important, the bad and the good.
To the real you, the ego is a tool to be used, something you can change based on a vision you wish to achieve.

The ego is a marvelous tool, truly great but not incredibly conscious (or smart in that way).

This is where you get to the distinction of lightworker or darkworker (me thinks).

The darkworker will fashion the ego towards hailing is own greatness, that which he truly is. He'll mold it in the shape of himself, in the shape of the things he wishes to aquire. He enjoys the sensation of expanding his ego without becoming the ego. The size of your ego is never the problem, the problem is you defining yourself as the ego trapping yourself inside it.
On the inside his motivations are 'selfish' to celebrate his own greatness, on the outside (his actions) who knows. That depends on each particular darkworker.

The lightworker on the other hand will fashion the ego towards hailing the greatness of the whole. That which he truly is. He'll mold it in the shape of god and put it to use in his name. The ego becomes a tool to celebrate the glory of god and aid others in realizing the same.
The only way for the lightworker to be free is to be free from ego and free as in not attached to it, not identified with it.
On the inside his motivations are 'selfless' to celebrate the greatness of the whole, on the outside (his actions) who knows. That depends on each particular lightworker.

Both are free and both are incredibly motivated.

Ps. Note that I completely disagree with Steve that darkworker means fear. Perhaps in the lower regions when he's still identified with the ego however the same goes for the lightworker only for different reasons.
PPs. I don't particulary like defining both at all. The ones who are destined (I hate this word) to become light or darkworkers will do so out of there own free will when they are ready for it and they will find the tools they need.
