I often just tell people I'm an atheist/secular humanist cause personally I don't see any dichotomy between atheism and buddhism and new ageism and UUism

but of course people will argue with me about this to no end

maybe they're different in other people's minds, but to me it's a lot of the same really.

1. The universe is ultimately kind
2. People should strive to act with love in all situations, and everything besides this is just irrelevant details
