Thank you for your reply, Mato Kinze. Your opinion helped me clarify my own. I've definitely had incredibly purifying religious/mystical/spiritual experiences while on psychedelics and I know the feeling of their genuineness very well. This trip that I posted about was just so... out there in intensity and experience that I didn't know what category to throw it into inside of my head. Other bad or strange trips were little like this. It was definitely a unique experience and I believe we were just interacting with each other on many different levels simultaneously while powerful feelings were influencing how we felt about what was happening between us.

Those genuine spiritual experiences are why I choose to do psychedelics in the first place. Sometimes I forget my overall intentions when it comes to ingesting sacred substances though and I have an out of control and undesirable experience as a result. My reasons for tripping and my expectations are just not aligned with myself and the result is deserved.
