MEHELP,

I agree with what Calisto says. However, as Trezker points out, that's easier said than done.

I've found that Pema Chodron - a Bhuddist Bhodisattva and author - has some very practical and useful tools for cultivating this energy and thought process.

Two books I would reccommend are "When Things Fall Apart," and "The Places That Scare You."

Both deal extensively with how one creates compassion in oneself for all creatures and beings; especially those that anger or hurt you.
