Every morning my wife and I make the following smoothie in the Vita-Mix:

a few bananas
some blueberries
some nuts or seeds
a cup of cabbage
a large carrot
1 celery stalk
a beet slice
as much spinach as you can cram in there
soy milk, water, or juice
sweetener as desired
