Is it possible that the best way of eating is to stop assuming that food has any power over us except that which we give it via our beliefs?

I'm SO enjoying this diet thing.
I've been toying with that idea, but did not dare to post it (I'm no SR expert yet...). Believing in SR is some sort of huge potent placebo effect we all use all the time. If you believe that Objective Reality runs within Subjective Reality, you have to know the rules for having a body. The extremes are obviously wrong: There is no doubt in my mind that a hard core breatharian (living on "light") will die of starvation. You can't deny physical life. But downing burgers full time (like in "Supersize me") is off too.
So the question is: how far can you push the belief that your beliefs about diet are all that matters? With what rules does one decide on what to eat?
