Given your programming skills, why not come up with a software that will amplify your progress toward some sort of self improvement.
I am sure that you sometimes wish there was a particular function that is missing in a piece of software or could be done more elegantly or some aspect of your life you would like to automate.
If the software is useful to you, it might be useful to others.
Perhaps then you could sell it.
Or make it open sourced and have others contribute to the development of it.
