Default It's a Fact!

Fact: Whenever somebody labels something a "Fact", it is actually not a fact at all.

People who insist on presenting a subject labelled with the word "Fact", or just saying "it's a fact..." are trying to hide the fact (pun intended) that they are, at best, presenting poorly formed opinions.

The same goes for labeling something as "truth". When somebody has to throw the word "truth" at you, that's a giant red flag that it's not truth at all.

While I'm at it, the phrase "everybody knows that..." is also a giant red flag that, in fact, nobody has ever bothered to prove the subsequent assertion true.

The more somebody insists a proposition is true, the less likely it is.
