Hi guys, great posts and pics!
I'm someone who periodically has the impulse to grow a beard. It usually is accompanied by the urge to read Lord of the Rings and books on Norse Mythology!! (and drink flagons of ale and carry a battle-axe! - before I gave up the old booze for good!)
At the moment I'm clean-shaven but I'm one of those guys who grows a full and manly beard in about a week, which means that even when I've just shaved people say "oh why haven't you shaved - you have a blue face!"

On a related topic - does anyone know of a website for 'trying out' hairstyles? I need to cut my hair as it's kinda getting long and I thought it would be great if I could super-impose hair styles onto my face to see if they'd suit me. (I'm not really a computer geek and don't have photoshop or anything like that). Don't know if such a thing exists even - but if it doesn't then you have my blessing to invent it and make a fortune with a string of salons.
Anyway Happy New Year to hirsute and non-hirsute alike. (my first day back this year)
