Default Planning Inputs

Hi Timothy,
  1. Start with what you want you want to achieve in next 3 years
  2. List the action you need to take in order to achieve your goals for 3 years
  3. Note what tasks can be accomplished, ideas can be implemented during next year
  4. Of the above tasks (in point 3) note what you want to and can take up during next 3 months
Quarterly Planning: (Model Approach)

Pick from point 4 above - this is what you want to accomplish during next three months; and group it under following sub-heads:
  • Physical
  • Financial
  • Spiritual
  • ... add more sub-heads as you think appropriate
Break you action into months and further into weeks;

Month 1
  • Week 1:
  • Week 2:
  • Week 3:
  • Week 4:

Month 2
  • Week 1:
  • Week 2:
  • Week 3:
  • Week 4:

Month 3
  • Week 1:
  • Week 2:
  • Week 3:
  • Week 4:

Steve also wrote about it in detail - http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/200...planning-time/

Further, I would suggest that such discussion is better suited in Personal Effective forum - http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/p...effectiveness/. There you will find greater response to such a query as this forum is meant to discuss posts made by Steve.

Hope this helps.
