Hello!
This is Day 4 of my experiment with a raw foods diet. I am mostly taking in fruit (I'd say 90-95%), with the rest being some vegetables. What is the most striking to me, however, is the lack of detoxification symptoms. I have read countless stories about the struggles of a raw foods diet, and how amazingly tough it is, but I am finding it ridiculously easy. What gives?
But seriously, I am a little worried I am doing something wrong. Maybe I am not detoxifying my body, which is why I have no symptoms. I am not cooking anything! Lots of fruit and green smoothies! When I used to do ketosis diets, I also never experienced any of the ketosis-related symptoms, and found no cravings to carbohydrates.
I thought I would miss all the foods that I love to eat, and cook, but I am not. Could I seriously be doing something wrong, or somehow cheating myself? This all seems too easy, so I have myself convinced that I am.
