I know what it takes to build muscle, high calories and high protein, but I know little about digestion and what makes for easy digestion. Is there a diet that would meet both my needs, or a good compromise?

Thanks

I'm seventeen. I have a really crappy diet, full of animal products and sugar. Once I became an early riser, I never slept over eight hours. I feel fine, I've just passed through adaptation. I don't say diet isn't important. It's just not the only factor determining sleep efficiency.
I think Steve included some information about raw eating body builders in his last logs. It seems to me that it isn't about high protein.
