I have two. One is
particleblog, a blog about videogames as an art form and (more recently) about design methodology (I'm a game designer in my day job).
The other is a writing project called
American Hate which is an attempt at portrait through fiction, which I think is the most useful way of writing fiction on a blog. A lot of attempts to write novels have been made, but they fall short because to do so relies on blog readers having read everything up to date, which they generally don't do (I don't anyway). What I'm trying with AH is something of a more rounded, serial approach, more like television shows do it. The attractive thing about TV is that it delivers small stories and slowly developing characters rather than complete pieces, and I think fiction blogs are basically the same, but with shorter attention spans.
I'm thinking of starting up a third blog discussing the writing of AH, specifically the serial method that I'm experimenting with, but I don't know if anyone in creation is really interested to hear about that or not. If so, I'd likely just hang that blog off of my own domain. What do you think?
