I was introduced to LOA from Abraham-Hicks, and one thing that always struck me about their message was how non-judgemental it was. I think that is why it resonated with me. I don't think that anyone's desires are better or worse than anyone else's. If someone wants money to donate to the poor, more power to them. And if someone wants money to blow it on designer purses, more power to them, too. Who am I (or anyone?) to decide that one is better than another? Isn't there enough money to go around?
Saying the signal is stronger when what you want is for the better good....
that may not be true for everyone. LOA can be spiritual, but I don't think it has to be. And I just don't find anything wrong with it if it isn't.
