If your follow through problem is related to reading the whole book or listening to the whole audiotape, I'd say, you do not have enough interest in Personal Development. If that is the case, maybe you should buy other types of books (fiction, biographies, etc).
If your problem is related to applying the concepts after you have read the book or listened to the audiotape, then I fully agree with Nick's recommendation.
