Paul,

Congrats on the first steps to your new body and healthy lifestyle.

I don't know what your diet is but be very careful. 3.4lbs in 2 days is likely water loss with some fat loss given that you are working out. I always tell people that they should shoot for 2 pounds of fat loss per week. This is a safe and realistic way to lose weight and keep it off. Plus, I tell people to weigh themselves weekly and not daily. If you gain 1 pound tomorrow, you might get demoralized. 1-3 pounds of weight fluctuation per day is not uncommon. So a weekly weigh in reduces the fluctuations some and over the long haul, you'll see progress.
