It’s been a long time since my studies, but one thing that always helped me is exercise. I used to play squash and the total physical exhaustion after a game helped me keeping a clear head every day.
I find it important that you do something to take your mind of studying. Nowadays I keep fit doing Yoga, Hot Yoga that is. I practise 3-5 times a week and for 1.5 hours I am in a completely different world. Coming home afterwards I feel completely refreshed and can go back to work.
