There is a great book that has helped me called Girlosophy Breakup Survival Kit by Anthea Paul.
If you can get hold of that, it is well worth reading.
One of the things she suggests which I found to be true, after you have had your good cry and debrief (go easy on that though, in view of future), is to look after yourself. It is difficult with small children, however, if you take good care of yourself by eating, sleeping, drinking plenty of water, you will begin to feel better.
