I've had lucid, or near lucid dreams since I was a kid, although for the past 8 years or so I forgot. I remember when I was in 2nd or 3rd grade I had my first flying dream. I got the inspiration from a certain Mario Nintendo game, there's a character who jumps and floats for several seconds. I was dreaming I was at my school playground and I started showing all the other kids how jump and float.. It was quite fun, a bunch of little kids floating a few feet off the ground during recess!
Since then I've graduated to better forms of flight
Everytime I dream about flying, lucid or not, the next time I do it I can fly much higher and much faster. I believe I'm near jet stream height, and I can get up there from the ground and then back down to the ground in just a few seconds.
