Paul, I had the opposite experience of A New Earth and The Power of Now... if I had read A New Earth first, I think I would have been wondering what the heck was going on, or thinking I had missed something. The Power of Now gave me an immediate, urgent sense of what it is like to be present in the moment as I was reading it. For me, A New Earth was more like The Further Adventures in Now.

I'm so glad I read both books!
