Oh, very much agreed and I certainly wouldn't suggest excluding them. Just discussing them after the more basic skills.

In your own life, judging from your articles, you first mastered skills like self-discipline, courage, time management, getting up early etc. before you were ready to absorb bigger picture principles like the malleability of personal beliefs (something that I imagine took a lot of courage and self-discipline to try at first!).

The blog archive serves as a clear record of this progression, and I doubt that there are short cuts to the process.

You're in a place beyond those basic principles now, but to those who aren't already at your level (like me!), your principles sound awesome, but not something that meaningfully connects with our daily existence.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to the book and sorry to hear it's so far away...
