Has anyone on this forum heard of something called 'Theta Healing'?

I met someone at a social function the other day and she practiced the healing method. From what she said, it's healing done through accessing the 'theta' brainwave and using a technique by summoning these healing theta waves to the person who needs to be healed.

I think there may be some truth to it, but I have to admit, it almost sounded too good to be true. There are a couple of videos on Youtube regarding the healing method, but was curious if anyone on these forums had come across this practice. If so, what are your thoughts on it?
