I am a 30 year old female, and I do not have children...nor do I have the desire to have them. IMO, not having kids does not make you selfish, just as having kids does not automatically make you selfless. I know several selfish parents.
I am a control freak, so I know that I would try to control every aspect of my children's lives. I would also overprotect them. So, unless a drastic change happens, no kids for me.
