I, too, was wondering about the Ruin a Wish thread. Is it invoking the LoA? On the other hand, I listened to an audiobook by Deepak Chopra (The Book of Secrets) and I remember Chopra mentioning that all decisions have positive and negative consequences. For example, you might get your dream job, but you and your family might be required to relocate. This also reminds us that when we don't get what we want, we might be getting a blessing in disguise.

Personally, I will continue to participate in the thread occasionally for entertainment purposes.
