On the tokyo vacation--here's something I'd like to share about a friend of mine. He was at a baseball game and called my buddy up, and said that he had been selected to win a free trip to Hawaii, if some player hit a home run in a certain inning or something like that.
So my friend and I listened to the game on the radio, and it was supposed to be a long shot but the dude hit the run and my friend won the trip, he called and was all excited, they had him on the big Jumbo Tron being all excited, he was screaming and we could hear all the cheering and everything. It was pretty cool.
Next time I saw him he was like "Dude it was crazy because just that day I was talking about Hawaii and how I don't think I've ever really won a contest or anything."
It freaked me out because I was just starting to get a grip on this stuff and I was like "damn, he thought about Hawaii, thought about contests and on that day he wins a free trip." Both him and my friend were like "wow how lucky!" But all I could think was "he made this happen."
