Seems like you answered your own question.
Every single thing has purpose otherwise it wouldn't exist.
Every single thing is made of energy, so therefore cannot be created or destroyed, only changed.
People want to rid the world of things (usually bad) but how can you appreciated good without bad?.........you can't.
