I recommend the process of "Segment Intending" as described in The Law of Attraction by Abraham-Hicks. Basically, you identify the different 'segments' of your day, and hold intentions for each of these segments... just take a moment before you transition into it to identify your intentions.

For example, "I intend to have a safe and pleasant commute to work"... "I intend to have good interactions with my co-workers and customers"... etc.

I've been having really good results with this. With such small segments, it's easier to see immediate results. You can see I-M at work in real time, and it's a good way to develop confidence in your abilities to manifest positive change... not to mention the effect it will have on your day-to-day life!
