On the whole it seems that the will to do is deeply connected to the body. I have found that unless I get the body moving with a jog or a rigorous exercise, it refuses to work towards my goal - needs to be driven with discipline.
But driving my intention and body separately and disconnectedly is not as effective as aligning the body to participate in the same intention that my mind wishes to pursue. And unless I have a dialogue with my body and emanate my wish through it, I cannot get that extra surge of energy I need to realise my intention.
Bless you Steve, thats a terrific process of bootstrapping the body into action in the present moment. I finished a lot of work last night and when I almost succumbed to a cup of coffee this morning, in the midst of the struggle, remembered this technique. Boy does it work! The question of shall I, shouldn't I vaporised in an instant and became irrelevant...
Must mention though, I have noticed that intentionally unwinding an associating thought sequence to collaborate is a bit tricky - I need to keep watching, lest I lose myself. But that is the little effort I have to make...and thats where all the fun is!
