My opinion is that you are unmotivated because you have not found the right idea yet. Someday something will come along that will excite you and you will want to create it and you will not find it repetitive because each phase of the creation process will just bring new challenges that you can apply your creative mind to. In the mean time, just keep developing your skills, because they will come in handy for accomplishing your big creative endeavor.
