Those mental blocks are the reasons why I have trouble making money outside my job. I spend a lot of time thinking about what I'm going to do, but I never do it. I always think about the money and especially the fame I want to have, instead of what value I can offer other people that would convince them to hand over their money and adulation. Money without value would give me a feeling of satisfaction, kind of like when I get a really good deal with a coupon, and it would probably leave me with plenty of free time and energy to spend as I please.
