What about the plow? The Puritans didn't like new kinds of plows, because they were innovative and novel, which was a crime. And then there's the rifle. I mean, dear God, what a horrible thing, that you can actually shoot straight-ish, rather than within a sixty-degree arc of where you're aiming. How would America ever have become top-dog without the rifle?
