So I've begun to seriously wonder if I'm missing some kind of information as per being friends with guys. I live in NYC and frankly, I just don't run into guys in my college classes or elsewhere that I'm uh.. "attracted?" to as friends.
My wonderment is due to the fact that I had many friends when I was a child, best friends I thought would be best friends forever. I moved twice and made friends just fine, and slowly but surely they're all gone except my girlfriend. Things have been like this for so long that I'm not even sad about it, but clearly it's on my mind because when I watch television, like Big Shots tonight, I see the four best guy friends and I wonder what gene I'm missing.
Really, I'm a nice guy and I'm funny. The fact that I don't like football at all probably hurts... but so much so?
How might I go about fixing this in a way that won't be awkward or uncomfortable?
