Hello again,

I have had a question for a long time since I learned about LoA and since this blog entry deals almost directly with my question, I think this is the best time to ask it...

I can see how praying for yourself works, especially given the LoA. But what about the LoA and praying for another person? Does praying for another person do any good at all? For example, if they are ill, or if they have some sort of misery you wish them to be free of? I used to pray a lot to God for other people.

According to the LoA, it seems logical that it is useless to pray for anyone but yourself, however, in "What the Bleep Do We Know," a man says that a large group of people prayed concerning crime in Washington D.C. and that crime in D.C. took an extreme drop, but the man didn't say what or how these people were praying.

If I pray for a friend, does it do any good at all?
