When American Beauty came out years later that damn paper bag scene made me just start sobbing uncontrollably in the theater because it touched so closely on how I had felt that day. Life was so different since it had happened but that feeling hadn't changed a bit.
Anyway, I don't know why, your squirrel story reminded me of that. Sounds to me like a sign to not worry, that you're being looked after. | Wow, that's an awesome story =) And a great movie too.
