Thumbs up

LifeQuest, First of all, let me congratulate you. You've shown amazing drive in keeping everyone updated with your progress. It takes nothing short of a strong will to do even this when you're in a productivity-low. I really really appreciate your commitment.

I can relate to what you're talking about, as I've seen the lifestyle of my brother and cousins who are doing their engineering courses at various universities. Its really cool that u've made the decision to change. That itself is a great indicator to show that you are committed. After seeing you're posts, I can see clear as daylight, that you're on the road of progress, and sooner or later, if u stick with it you're sure to develop the habits you want.

There's one thing I want to tell you. The main thing if you want change, is to actually change inside - there are no shortcuts. NLP, Conditioning, etc all work great, i know. But then, real change comes when you work Inside-out, rather than Outside-in.

I'd like you to take a look at "Proactivity" and Stephen Covey's ideology if possible.

If you' feel a consistent low, try to develop the habit of just acting on your duty/work/task. Just do it - don't think about inspiration, or feeling "right" or anything of the sort. Just do it. Start off with your work. Act on your duty. Turn on your engine mechanically if auto-start doesn't work. The only thing that really supports your goals, in essence, is action. So try your best to support all your goals with action.

Another thing is, like Steve says, start off with the Physical. Trust me, its a GREAT way to start off. It really teaches you how to overcome the internal resistance that obstructs us very often. When you correct the physical, and get things in order, you have many benefits - energy, motivation, confidence, a feeling of well-being. So if u're looking @ overall change, I suggest you start off with the Physical. (I've told you this from personal experience).

Those are my 2 cents. I hope they help.

All the Best my friend.

Best Wishes,
~ aDityA.
