Well, I managed to explain computer programming (which is my day job) to my grandmother who can hardly grasp the concept of what a computer is. So I am actually confident that I can explain it to you quite clearly if I need to.

I didn't actually suppose that. If I need to communicate with someone who doesn't want to hear a word I say, I'm still fully responsible for getting the message across. If someone doesn't understand me, I'll need to find the words to make her understand (specially if she is my girlfriend).

Of course, my responsibility ends when the other person decides to back out of the conversation entirely. If you choose to never visit this forum again, I obviously have no hope of ever getting any point across to you after that, since you'll have cut me out of the one channel of communication that we both share.
