and I'll make a counter to this. To find myself doesn't happen. I am some sort of illusion (at the ego self). When I try to find myself, I actually sort of disappear - I merge with the souroundings and become one with experience. I don't have a seperate self that is mine all by itself. I look for it and it doesn't exist. I am the seer seeing the seen and all three are always together, so the seer itself doesn't really exist (as a stand alone unit).

(This is actually the Buddhist idea, Anatta. The Dali Lama has a book out called "How to See Yourself as You Really Are").
