Lifequest, you are experiencing something that can be describes as the conflict of parts. Of course there no part inside your head, and they can not be in conflict, but stay with me for a while.
One part of you wants to work every day. Another doesn't want to. Both these parts want to do something good for you. First of all try to analyze what good each part is trying to give you. You write it down. For example, one part wants you to be productive, and another wants you to be rested. Your answers can be different. Then for each goodness, ask the question - why is it important and keep asking this question for each subsequent answer.
If you do it long enough, most likely the reasons of two parts will start to converge. It may turn out that both parts want you to be successful.
This alone will give the point of control. You will know that these conflicting desires are not conflicting at all. They are trying to reach the same goal, but in a different ways. This opens the way to a compromize.

Then there is an optional meditation. You can imagine each of your conflicting parts, say, on the palms of your hands. Then you meditate and ask your subconscious to find the way how both two parts will be able to reach their goals together. The signal, that the request is granted is your palm touching each other spontaneously.

I'm not sure how meditation will work, but the first analysis part should also help.
