Then the instructions said to make sure you Url encoded the url and the title, wait (smacks forehead, I hear you shouldn't do that too often or you could get dumber) does it mean I'm adding h t t p plus the rest of the url((ok tried to put in the h t t p thingee and it added in the url for steve's blog, nice but not what I was looking for)) excetra to the code where my url and article name goes. Man I did that, so all this was for nothing???? If so why didn't they just put the http bit in the code section to be changed and not confuse those of us who insist on complicating everything.
Thanks DrM. Now if I could figure where any articles I stumble show up besides in my favorites.
Did you get your button working? If not, I can try to help...

Your articles get shown when someone has marked as an interest whatever category you put it in when you stumbled it (or whoever "discovered" it put it in, at any rate) clicks "Stumble!" on the toolbar. However, your votes cease to count for a given site if too high a percent of them are for that single site... My stumbles probably don't send any more traffic to flickr, for example.

Your stumbled articles only show up on your main page of SU when you leave a review, by the way... otherwise someone has to click on the "Pages He Likes" link. And if you actually USE stumbleupon, other than for trying to drive traffic, if you want to have a picture show up on your main SU page, you include this at the end of your review:
<br /><br /><img src='web_address_of_picture'>

What you see when you stumble depends on what interests you marked, and you can make it show or not show specific things (ie pictures, videos, etc.) by going to "Tools" and then "Toolbar Options" on your SU toolbar.

Hmm, guess that's long enough for now.
