Ummm... it's not a ghost, I'm afraid (though I do wonder about that woman with the brain in her lap... WTF is that, anyway?)
The photo was taken using a relatively slow shutter speed, say 1/15th or 1/30th of a second, without a flash. You can tell by the motion blur, especially on the right-hand side of the photo.
On the extreme bottom right, you'll see that there's a lamp that illuminating what appears to be the arm of a couch. (Looks like it may be brass or possibly chrome.) You'll notice that the "ghosted" image is also more illuminated on the right, which means that it, too, was illuminated by that lamp.
Looks to me like someone was standing and then immediately sat down as soon as you took the photo. The ghosting effect is the blurred motion of them as they sat down.
