The word "lazy" sounds a bit judgemental.
The term procrastination is a bit more objective.

I don't think that using the term lazy is an effective way to describe behavior.

Talking about this in terms of “bad news” or “bad judgment by business leaders” seems archaic. It’s like describing World War One as “a serious diplomatic concern.”
