My desire is impossibility, made possible. I am eternally optimistic, so this hope lives strongly in me. I used to be very interested in psychokinesis and levitation, and all these books keep coming to me that make me dream even more. I know that the most apparent side-effect in power is responsibility, but my lifestyle is such that I have (and am being) taught this art.

Before I continue, answer me this. What do you believe? Do you believe in evolution? Do you believe in childhood dreams? Do you believe in life as poetry invigorated and metaphor as truth?

P.S. It's good to be back, I haven't posted here in many months.
When this photo first came out, heaps of surfers, most of them in fact, even the best, thought it was a fake. They thought it was totally impossible. But the guy, Laird Hamilton, had been doing the impossible since a little kid.

His adopted dad, a famous big wave surfer, tells the story that they went to that famous diving cliff in Hawaii, the one in all the movies, to see some friends, and watch some divers. He tells how they went up the top, which is full on, and how while they were talking about how dangerous and radical it was, much to their absolute horror, Laird, only a little kid, went to the edge and jumped before they could stop him. And how he ran all the way up and did it again, and again.

Now tow surfing is common, and even learners ride waves once considered cartoon like.
