Unfortunately, reality does not mirror the fictional world of American TV - or at least not that often.
Please understand that I am not telling you these things just to make you feel bad or out of disdain. Quite the contrary, I'm trying - as Angela does - to steer you towards a path of happiness, not pain. Part of that is because I know, from personal experience, how much pain comes with the years and years of waiting for a relationship gone wrong to turn right. Trust me when I say that is not a path you want to tread - there are far, far happier ways to live out your life.
