I believe that fear is the only devil that exists. That evil is an incarnation of humanity, not some "being" in another realm trying to overthrow good.
But fear vibrations can exist in concentrations and can be knowingly or unknowingly sent to and from human soul centers. So unexpected fear, panic, depression, unexplainable sensations of evil call for serious grounding, as the other posters said.
But I wouldn't worry about devils or evil beings or being possessed.
