If you want to be in a relationship with an intelligent girl, look for the intelligence in all girls. Be committed to finding intelligence of some kind in every girl you talk to. Be a guy who shines light on intelligence, even when you think it's hard to find. That would be an intelligent thing to do.
If you are able to see the intelligence that is in every girl, you'll have a very big pool of girls to select from who meet that one limited criteria! And then you'll be free to look at other qualities and conditions that would determine right woman for you: chemistry, warmth, values in common, timing.
You can still have a very high standard for yourself about having an intelligent partner, but you won't be locked into the straightjacket of looking at intelligence as your first indicator of who would be the perfect girl for you. You could easily make a mistake doing that, you know; you might meet a brilliant Rhodes Scholar on a day she is woozy because she just got over the flu, or you might think a woman is perfect for you because she can explain Shakespeare's tragedies and has a degree in physics (but she's a republican
