It may be true that many Americans do not follow everything that happens in our political system. However, it does not amount to apathy. I am well aware that our president, in fact our entire political system, is deeply flawed. You can look to my post
here to see that I am just as flabergasted at some of the things that happen as the next guy.
However, the way our system is set up prevents quick change. Even when the majority votes for a person, it's not any guarantee they'll get elected. I have no idea how Bush got into office the first time, let alone the second. I cannot off the top of my head agree with one thing he's done. I am sure there is some gem amongst the crap, but I can't recall one now.
