Default Funny how things work out

I set the intention to get a new bike (as noted in the Apple Notebook thread).

Yesterday, I was meeting someone in a less than safe area of Dublin and locked up my bike. I had an ominuous feeling of theft but thought nothing of it at the time.

Less than 30 minutes later the bike is gone, leaving only a professionally dismantled lock and a shatterd helmet in its place.

Today I have a new bike, funny how things work out!

A few points: At the competition today that I was setting up while the bike got stolen, we set up a Hardship fund and got a nice sum.

The insurance should cover the rest.

But like I said, funny how things work out!
