A sleep expert on Swedish TV4 said just resently that if a person don't get any light right after becoming awake in the morning, the brain triggers itself to sleep more and that makes the whole process of getting a good sleeping pattern useless almost. The same expert said that the main reason for people being tired, having no good sleep and constanty sleep over or wake up several times during the night is due to stress, up to 80% of all cases was stress related...The Expert also said that it was important to get enough light in the day and the key to get the day and night going great was to experiment with light and darkness and keeping day as regular as possible was a good idea. Also try to read some books about the matter. Some even consider CBT for bad sleep (several books is out in Sweden about this - Don't know about the rest of the world)...
Guess I got the right this time...my boyfriend say that it shall be dark in the room even in the morning...haha...and I said that no, I need light in the morning so I feel happy, awake and energized...and he said you must be very alone with that feeling...hahaha...and now an expert tells me that I was right...
