Default Whoa! What do you call this?

A few nights ago I had stayed overnight at the office to finish a writing assignment due the next morning. I took several small naps throughout the night and drank coffee. Love coffee!!!

During one of my naps, I slept on the couch in the lobby area. I dozed off pretty quickly. I don’t know how long I was sleeping before I felt like the couch was moving. I was about to get up, but decided to relax and see what happens. The couch felt like it was rocking me back and forth. It was kinda cool. Then I thought, “What if I could make it move like a swing?” So I tried it and the couch swung faster or slower. I even tried spinning. I was very aware I was sleeping, but that I was having this experience.

Then I thought I saw a flashlight. I thought the security guard was going to see me and ask why I was still there. I got scared and tried to get up. Even though I still knew I was sleeping, I got up, but it was very difficult to “walk.” I was trying to hide from the guard. I was trying to wake myself up, but couldn’t. I finally made it around the corner, I guess unseen – then I woke up. My eyes opened, but I didn’t feel ready to get up. My heart was beating fast, so I waited until I could collect myself. I checked the clock and I was sleeping for about 20 minutes. Amazing still was that I felt well rested to continue my writing marathon. (Need to read Steve’s articles regarding procrastination).

What was that? Was there a reason for that to happen and can I do that again? It was kinda cool until I got scared. After a few days, I can still get goosebumps thinking about it!

Any ideas and/or suggestions are welcomed!!! Thanks!!!
